Practitioner Returns Home to Her Roots

Sally von Erffa, MA, CcHt, recently moved to Albuquerque after living in the Bay Area for 15 years. She grew up in Santa Fe, and moved to the Oakland to expand her horizons and education. She is now expecting her first child in May, so the journey into motherhood and desire to reconnect with family and the land here brought her back home to New Mexico.

von Erffa has developed a therapeutic style that integrates a unique blend of skills gathered from a wide range of disciplines, which culminate seamlessly into her philosophy of healing. Invoking “flow” states is at the core of her work. She believes that healing and transformation come through being fully present with our shadows, dancing with them rather than fighting or avoiding them. “Trance states, somatic awareness, and creative expression are ways to tap into states of flow, transforming obstacles into stepping-stones,” she says. von Erffa uses hypnotherapy, expressive arts, mindfulness practices, and body awareness to unlock natural healing resources. “The result,” she says, “is a more easeful, harmonious and natural flow of life.”

Her areas of specialty include trauma resolution, releasing anxiety and depression, and addressing health issues from a holistic perspective. She has extensive experience in addressing the emotional, psychological and energetic patterns underlying chronic health conditions.
